Daniel Negreanu signs with GGPoker

TORONTO – Daniel Negreanu, one of the greatest poker players of all-time, has affiliated himself with GGPoker. With the ink barely dry from his divorce from Poker Stars, Daniel has signed on to become the face of relatively new poker site, GGPoker.

Daniel is probably best known for his ambassadorial role with Poker Stars, where he, among a bevy of heavy hitters in the poker world, proudly wore the Poker Stars badge for years. He and Poker Stars decided to part ways in May of 2019 in what was deemed an amicable split.

In signing on to become the most prominent ambassador of GGPoker, Daniel will further look to grow the online poker scene by pairing up with a new name on the scene, GGPoker. For Daniel, this will be his third major brand ambassador role with an online poker site and for GGPoker, this addition is absolutely massive. Whether you love or hate him, Daniel has had a tremendous impact on the poker community and has played his part in helping to cultivate and grow this community.

The deal between Daniel and GGPoker was jointly announced on Twitter and in signing Daniel, it provides GGPoker with instant credibility that they were able to nab one of, if not, the biggest names in poker history. Time will only tell how this arrangement will play out and how much of a role Daniel will have in his latest ambassador role.
